Two Photographic Exhibitions in London

Thursday is usually a university day for me, but this Thursday a trip to London to see two major exhibitions was organised. 'Beetles to Bowie' at the National Portrait Gallery is a fascinating journey through the celebrity photography of the 60s and includes 'iconic' images of the by David Bailey and Cecil Beaton.

The second exhibition at the British Library looks at the development of photography from the very first images made by Fox Talbt and Deguerre. Both were fascinating and well worth the trip (despite huge delays on the return journey due to an accident).
